Elysian Brewing Company Contact Haze Hazy IPA

Thanks to my dog Nell for having a litter of wonder cute puppies for me to receive Elysian Brewing Company Contact Haze Hazy IPA, 6% ABV which was part of a mixed twelve-pack in which the new owners of one of Nell’s puppies was given. Mind Haze pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a one-finger white head that slowly fades into thick lacing. The aroma is peachy fruit with a dry hoppy note. The flavor is peach as well, with a fruited hoppy dry flavor too that is lemony on the back of the tongue. The mouthfeel is light and refreshing. Mind Haze finishes with a fruity hoppy dryness and a light hoppy bitter fruity aftertaste. Elysian Brewing company Mind Haze Hazy IPA is a really good tasty refreshing IPA that is well-deserving of an A+. It has a nice balance between the fruity peach flavor and the bitter hoppy flavor. The peach notes had to it an overall refreshing taste. I highly recommend it. It was so good I had three and the beer’s flavor did not become too much for my tastebuds. The flavor is sessionable, but not o much for the ABV. The flavor overall isn’t so bold that it blew my mind. The flavor was just right to be sessionable and easy. That’s what made it excellent. Please be kind, be safe, and enjoy responsibly! Cheers! Cheers!

Creature comforts Brewing Co. & Threes Brewing Simply Put Rice Lager

CreatCreature Comforts Brewing Co. & Threes Brewing Simply Put Rice Lager, 4% ABV is a collaboration between the two breweries that are brewed in Athens, Georgia. This rice lager is brewed with Marsh Hen Mill Carolina Gold rice, along with Pacifica and Meridian hops. it pours a gold yellow straw color with a two-finger steady bright white head. The aroma is crisp, sweet biscuit with a very faint citrusy note. Now the flavor is sweet but not as sweet as it smells, and I found a nice crisp/dry breaded note with a very faint citrusy flavor. The mouthfeel is light and crisp. This rice lager finishes smooth crisp with dryness. That dryness carries into the aftertaste the is semi-sweet. Now for a while, I have been found of lagers, and I think that is because the craft beer scene is flooded with all kinds of IPAs. I like IPA, but you can only keep having something you like for so long before you need a break from it. I also believe that Lager beer will become the new tread. But anyhow I find this Creature Comforts Brewing Co. & Threes Brewing Simply Put Rice Lager to be a good beer, getting an A+. It isn’t as dry as some more classic rice lagers. It is refreshingly crisp with good flavors that are well brewed. I highly recommend Creature Comforts Brewing Co. & Threes Brewing Simply Put Rice Lager. Please be kind, be safe, and enjoy responsibly! Cheers!

Three Taverns Craft Brewery A Night on Ponce IPA

Three Taverns Craft Brewery A Night on Ponce IPA, 7.5% ABV is named after a street in Atlanta, Georgia but this IPA is brewed in Decatur, Georgia. This is another beer brought to me by my friend and co-worker Matt. This IPA pours a yellow color with a one-finger steady fading white head. The aroma is lemon citrus with a dry hoppy note. The flavor is citrusy with lemon and a bit of lemongrass with bitter hop dryness. The mouthfeel is light and smooth with a bit of crispness, This IPA finishes dry with a few fruity lemon hops and not much of an aftertaste I found Three Taverns Craft Brewery A Night on Ponce IPA a little soapy tasting and a bit too much lemon flavor. I’d give Three Taverns Craft Brewery A Night on Ponce IPA a D+. It tasted like an IPA, a lemony IPA, but not in a good way. The lemon flavor was a bit off and the hops were low in flavor. I didn’t find this to be that good, and one-sided. It needs to have more than just the lemon perhaps more hop flavors than lemon or tone down the lemon flavor. I don’t think it’s a good IPA. Please be kind, be safe and enjoy responsibly! down the lemon flavor. I don’t think it’s a good IPA. Please be kind, be safe and enjoy responsibly!

It definitely and strong hazy IPA with good citrus bitterness but it does quite drink like an 8% ABV IPA. That’s a good thing in my opinion. It doesn’t have a huge amount of hop flavor but some. I don’t know if I’d go back to this soon, but I also don’t know if I will never have it again either. Please be kind, be safe and enjoy responsibly!ount of hop flavor but some. This Pale Ale is Bittered with German Northern Brewer and Cascade hops and finished with Citra and Amarillo. Superfuzz pours a cloudy gold, light orange color with a one-finger white head that is somewhat slow fading. The aroma is sweet with orange and hints of bitterness. Taste is not as sweet as you get on its aroma, that is some slight bitter orange tartness with little bitterness. The mouthfeel is light but not too light. Superfuzz then give a blood orange fish with a little bit of bittiness and light sweet notes that do carry over into the aftertaste that lingers for a little bit. , 6.4% ABV, brewed in Seattle, Washington. Elysian Brewing Company Superfuzz Blood Orange Pale is a good beer, one that I would give a B to. The blood orange is there, but not a strong or bold flavor. Olde Mecklenburg Brewery Munzler’s Vienna Lager

Olde Mecklenburg Brewery Munzler’s Vienna Lager, 4.9% ABV brewed locally in Charlotte, North Carolina is brewed with dark malts and named for North Carolina first brewer Martin Munzler. This beer is relatively new for Olde Mecklenburg. It pours a caramel color with a one-and-a-half-finger white fizzy head. The aroma is a bready light sweetness and caramel. The taste is caramel sweetness with some bread notes with the faintest of dark malt notes. The mouthfeel is light for a Vienna Lager. Munzler’s finishes with a hint of a sweet bread that doesn’t stay. The aftertaste is caramel that only there for half a second then poof it’s gone. Olde Mecklenburg Brewery Munzler’s Vienna Lager is not bad and it close to some of the best Vienna Lagers, so I give a B+. I couldn’t find any faults with this beer other than it has just a pinch too much of dark malts, which are good, It is a good drinking beer that you should try for yourself.
