Edmunds Oast Brewing Co. Cereal For Dinner

I first reviewed this beer, Cereal For Dinner, back in 2020 at the end of May. I thought I would review this beer again because I keep seeing this everywhere. This beer is by Edmunds Oast Brewing Co. in Charleston, South Carolina. This beer comes in at 5.5% ABV and has almonds, vanilla, Lactose, and coconut. This ale pours yellow with a two-finger steady head. The aroma is vanilla-sweet and nutty. The flavor is also vanilla, coconut, and smooth. The flavor of this beer is nutty but slightly nuttier than its aroma. This beer feels light on the mouth. Then you come to a finish of sweet vanilla nuttiness with some fake or artificial coconut. The aftertaste is sweet and nothing more. This beer is not overly sweet overall. That’s good because blonde beer that is sweet shouldn’t be. This ale has the right amount of sweetness with a bit of a nutty flavor. I give Cereal For Dinner a B+. This beer has plain vanilla and not a more exotic type of vanilla. If it did, I would probably rate this higher. I recommend that you drink this beer. It is good. This beer is good enough to have a few. Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!

Legal Remedy Brewing Co. World Court Mocha Blonde Stout

This beer from Rock Hill, South Carolina, is World Court. This is a Mocha Blonde Stout from Legal Remedy. This beer is made with Knowledge Perk Coffee and white chocolate. This beer is 6% ABV. This stout pours a deeper yellow/orange color with a one-finger white head. The aroma is sweet with chocolate. This beer has some light coffee notes. The taste is chocolate, sweet, and smooth. The coffee flavor is faint, and I think the chocolate covers over it. This beer has a medium feel to the mouth. This beer finishes with a light coffee roast and chocolate taste. The aftertaste is more chocolate than anything else. This mocha blonde stout is okay. I would say it’s a C+. The coffee gets lost in the white Chocolate. But this is not the worst, and yes I would recommend it, but don’t seek it out! Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!

Brouwerij Van Steenberge Augustijn Blonde

Finding this was the best! I found a mixed six-pack of Brouwerij Van Steenberge beers. It has six of each.I found it at Reeds Fine Food here in South Park. This brewery is in Evergem, Belgium. This beer is Augustijn Blonde. It comes in a 7.0% ABV. Augustijn Blonde pours an amber blonde with a two-finger white head. The head slowly fades away. The aroma is fruity, strong, and malty from the grains. This ale has some hoppy notes. The flavor is lightly sweet, fruity, and malted (the same grains). There is a vanilla flavor and some light hops. The mouthfeel is medium. Then this blonde finishes with a light, malted fruit flavor. Then you get an aftertaste of slightly sweet malts and a light, hoppy flavor. This ale is a very delicious Belgian Blonde ale. I give this an A+. I would not pass this one. I highly recommend it. It’s just a good and balanced Belgian blonde. It is refreshing and full of great flavor. I will bring you more from the Brouwerij Van Steenberge mixed six-pack, so stay tuned here! Please stay safe, always be kind to everyone, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!

Revelry Brewing & Free Will Brewing Summer Slow Down

This beer is Summer Slow Down, a hoppy blonde Ale, and a collaboration between Revelry Brewing in Charleston, South Carolina, and Free Will Brewing in Pennsylvania. This beer is a summertime beer, and they won’t make this again. It is 4.8% ABV. This blonde pours a yellow color with a three-finger rocky white head. It is slowly fading but does fade into thick wide lacing throughout the glass. The aroma is light and hoppy with lemon. The taste isn’t far off from its smell. There is a lightness to it that is lemony and hoppy. The mouthfeel is light. Then this blond beer finishes with a juicy lemon and a slightly hoppy flavor. The aftertaste is light tasting and hoppy, and you’ll find a lemon flavor there. This beer is a tasty and refreshing hoppy blonde ale that you should drink. It doesn’t have a lot of flavors, but what it does have is good. I give Summer Slow Down a B+. This beer misses going to the top of the grade because all the flavors are a lot and could be slightly more flavorful, but they are good. You should be drinking this beer! Please stay safe, be kind, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!

Hopfusion Ale Works Feisty Redhead

The beer I have today is Feisty Redhead, a hibiscus cherry blonde from Hopfusion Ale Works. This blond beer is from Ft. Worth, Texas, and is 8.67% ABV. This Feisty Redhead has Orange Blossom Honey, raw Piloncillo (an unrefined whole cane sugar used in Mexican cook & baking. It has a caramel taste similar to molasses or brown sugar), Mexican vanilla aged on hibiscus & cherries. This beer sounds complex and interesting. This beer pours a red likecolor with a one and a half finger of white head that is quick to dissipate. The aroma is sweet, tart, fruity (big cheery), and floral. The flavor is big on the cherry. The cherry is more of a syrupy flavor than real cherries. The flavors are sweet (honey & cherry), tart, and faintly floral. The mouthfeel is syrupy and medium feeling. Then this beer finishes with a tart cherry syrup flavor. Then it turns into an aftertaste of tart fruit syrup then fades into a faint honey note. This beer sounded better than it tasted. I give this Feisty Redhead a D. The cherry tastes fake and syrup-tasting and clashes with the tart flavors, which are faint at best. This beer leaves you with a cough syrup aftertaste. I don’t recommend you try this unless you are one of the few that likes cough syrup. Please stay safe, be kind, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!

Sugar Creek Brewing Company Sugar Cookie

This beer, Sugar Cookie, is a Sugar Cookie-inspired Blonde Ale from Sugar Creek Brewing Company. This Christmas Blonde ale is from Charlotte, North Carolina. It weighs in at 8% ABV. I believe this beer is a seasonal-only offering. This beer pours a golden color with two fingers’ white heads. The head fades steadily into a thin halo of bubbles. The aroma is sweet with spices/sugar. The flavor is not far off from its smell. There is sweetness, sugar creaminess, and spices, and its had a smooth overall flavor. Then it comes to a sugar cookie finish. Yes, that is right, it passes over your tongue, and it all comes together and tastes like a sugar cookie. The aftertaste is like eating a delicious sugar cookie that lingers until the next sip. This Sugar Creek Brewing Company Sugar Cookie is an A. I thoroughly enjoyed this beer and would recommend you do the same. It is not heavy and has a nice holiday touch without weighing you down. It’s good throughout an entire pint. I would surely go back to it for this beer. Please be kind, stay safe, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!

Appalachian Mountain Brewery Boone Creek Blonde

Boone Creek Blonde from Appalachian Mountain Brewery in Boone, North Carolina, is zested with orange and has a hint of Wildflower honey. This beer is 4.9% ABV. This beer pours a light orange color with a one-and-a-half finger white quick head. The aroma is orangey, sweet from the honey. The flavor is sweet honey, a big orange flavor that is candy-like. There also is a light hoppy note. The mouthfeel is light. But almost medium feeling. Then this Blonde beer finishes with a sweet orange flavor. Then comes an aftertaste of honey and orange with a hint of a hoppy noted that lingers. The hoppy note fades away quickly as the big honey/orange stays. This ale is not terrible, but I don’t think I could have more than one or one and a half. The flavor is good. It just becomes slightly overwhelming as you finish a can of Boone Creek. That is why it only gets as low as B-. It’s not bad enough that I would pass it up, but I would if I were having a growler of it. Please be kind, stay safe, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!

Edmund’s Oast Brewing Company Something Cold Premium Blonde Ale

This ale, Something Cold Premium Bold Ale, is another purchase from Stateliness Elite. This beer is 5% ABV. This beer pours a golden color with a three-finger white head that fades slowly. It has a grain aroma, with a lightly sweet citrus flavor and bread notes. The taste is citrusy, bright, clean, and with some grain flavors with a hint of bread. The mouthfeel is light. Then this blonde ale finishes crisp and clean with a light fruited flavor. Then you come to a crisp aftertaste of bread and grains. This ale is an easy-drinking beer. You could have many of these. This beer would be good on the hot golf course. The flavor is just right and doesn’t overpower your tastebuds. I give Something Cold an A. It has all the deliciousness with none of the filler. I recommend you try it! Please be kind, stay safe and remember to enjoy! Cheers!

Georgia Beer Co. Blueberry Field Party Blonde Ale

I am not the biggest fan of blueberry ales. This is Georgia Beer Co. Blueberry Field Party Blonde Ale, 5% ABV. This is the last of the verity of Field Party Blonde Ales I have. This particular Field Party beer pours a golden color with a one finger fizzy white head that fades real quick. The aroma is big sweet fresh blueberries. The blueberries pretty much mask any other notes. The taste is sweet with blueberries and a very little bready note. The mouthfeel is light. The aftertaste is blueberry with little bits of bready notes. The aftertaste is like container that had blueberries left in it. There is a sweetness to the aftertaste but it not very strong. Georgia Beer Co. Blueberry Field Party Blonde Ale wasn’t so bad. I’d say its a B-. It didn’t taste of artificial blueberries like some blueberry beers. But it hasn’t changes how I feel about blueberry ales. I mean a stout with blueberries is okay, but not in anyother styles. I would go for this again soon, but not too soon. Please be kind, be safe, and enjoy responsibly! Cheers!

Georgia Beer Co. Raspberry Field Party Blonde Ale

Here’s another sent from the Georgia Beer Co., and thanks for sending this. This is Raspberry Field Party Blond Ale, 5.0% ABV. This is a raspberry version of Field Party Blond Ale. I have reviewed that two days ago. This beer Here’s another sent from the Georgia Beer Co., and thanks for sending this. This Blonde Ale is Raspberry Field Party Blond Ale, 5.0% ABV. This beer is a raspberry version of Field Party Blond Ale. I have reviewed that two days ago. This beer pours a light red color that almost looks amber with a one-finger pink fizzy head. The aroma is sweet with a raspberry flavor. The taste follows the nose. It has a nice, light sweetness from the raspberry flavor with a tiny beardy note. The mouthfeel is light. This Blonde Ale finishes with a raspberry flavor that is not very overpowering. The aftertaste of raspberry doesn’t stick around long. It is there just long of for your taste buds to notice it’s there. Then it is gone. I found Georgia Beer Co. Raspberry Field Party Blonde Ale to be a little better than the not fruited Field Party. I give this beer a B+. The raspberries were refreshing. This Blonde Ale is a good beer for a hot summer’s day. A pool/beach beer for sure. So go out and try this Georgia Beer Co. Raspberry Field Party Blonde Ale. Please be kind, be safe, and enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
