I have not had this Foothills Brewing craft Happiness Project Digs IPA, 6.0% ABV or any of the beer from this series in a long while. This particular IPA benefits Crisis Control Ministry, which helps people in financial crisis and helps people from becoming homeless and helps fund and build affordable housing. Digs IPA is made with experimental hop HBC 568. I was lucky to find this at Total Wine, because it is only available between February through March. This IPA pours deep gold color with a four finger slow off-white head. The aroma is tropical with guava, melon, grapefruit bitterness, with hints of a wood with light smokiness. The taste is tropical with melon and guava. There is some grapefruit bitterness and wood flavors there too. Digs IPA finish with a bitter fruits and a hit of a wood note. The aftertaste of tropical woody fruits and little bitterness does not stick around long. This Craft Happiness Project IPA was interesting tasting with the notes of wood coinciding with the tropical fruits. Foothills Brewing craft Happiness Project Digs IPA is a taste IPA and one that I think deserves an A. Well at first of was thinking I am not going to like this as much as the other IPAs in this series, but the more I drank it the more I like it. It really is worth trying! This west-coast style IPA, duh, 7% ABV, is a collaboration between Burial Beer Co. & Green Cheek Beer Co, made in Asheville, North Carolina. This IPA utilized CRYO, EL DORADO, EL DORADO CRYO, INCOGNITO, MOSAIC, MOSAIC CRYO, NELSON hops and is a one-off beer. This beer pours a cloudy yellow color with a barely two-finger white head. The aroma is citrus fruit/juice. There are grapefruit and orange aromas with a few tropical flavors and a hoppy flavor. The taste is tropical citrus with bitter grapefruit and bits of orange. It has a bit of a medium, grainy mouthfeel. It finishes with a bitter citrus fruit flavor. The aftertaste is hoppy bitter with a slightly grainy feel. Overall this was an okay beer. It’s a C. The mouthfeel and aftertaste brought it down a little. Usually, Burial beers are better than this, especially their IPAs. I wouldn’t say this is one of the worst IPAs I’ve had. Trust me. I have had way worse. Burial Beer Co. & Green Cheek Beer Co. duh, will not make me dislike Burial Beer Co. because I know they can brew fantastic IPA and other beers. You should try Burial Beer Co. Here is a re-review of Georgia Beer Co. Southern Isles IPA, 6.5% ABV. This beer is from Valdosta, Georgia. It pours a copper color with a one-and-a-half-finger white head that slowly dissipates. The aroma is citrusy with grapefruit and orange. There is a slightly tropical, hoppy/bitter smell to it. The taste is bitter with citrus fruits and some hoppy flavors that flow along with a faint, tropical flavor. The mouthfeel is medium. This IPA beer finish with a bitter/hoppy note and a little citrus. The citrus notes carry over to its slightly bitter aftertaste that does linger. This IPA was probably a fresher can. So I found it to be better than the last time I drank it. I give Georgia Beer Co. Southern Isles IPA a B-. The flavors on this IPA are on the lower side, making it more of a drinkable beer. The entire beer doesn’t overpower your taste buds. That’s what I like when I have an IPA. Please be kind, stay safe, and enjoy responsibly! Cheers! 

Wild Leap Brew Co. Chance IPA 6.2% ABV brewed in LaGrange, Georgia is a 2020 US Beer Championship Gold winner. This IPA pours a yellow color with a two-finger white semi-steady fading head. It has a citrusy fruit flavor (orange and grapefruit) with a decent bitter aroma. The taste is fairly decent with citrusy notes of orange and grapefruit, bitterness is mild. There also are a few floral notes. The mouthfeel is medium. It finishes with a fruity floral flavor. The aftertaste is bitter fruity that comes and goes quickly. Overall this is slightly above average, getting a B-. It has a nice citrus flavor but nothing more than wows the tastebuds. It’s not bad. I found it to be a good IPA. Yes, there are better IPA out there. If I have more of this maybe my opinion on it might change and I’m willing to give Wild Leap Brew Co. Chance IPA and chance. It’s a good beer to try for yourself! Three Taverns Craft Brewery A Night on Ponce IPA, 7.5% ABV is named after a street in Atlanta, Georgia but this IPA is brewed in Decatur, Georgia. This is another beer brought to me by my friend and co-worker Matt. This IPA pours a yellow color with a one-finger steady fading white head. The aroma is lemon citrus with a dry hoppy note. The flavor is citrusy with lemon and a bit of lemongrass with bitter hop dryness. The mouthfeel is light and smooth with a bit of crispness, This IPA finishes dry with a few fruity lemon hops and not much of an aftertaste I found Three Taverns Craft Brewery A Night on Ponce IPA a little soapy tasting and a bit too much lemon flavor. I’d give Three Taverns Craft Brewery A Night on Ponce IPA a D+. It tasted like an IPA, a lemony IPA, but not in a good way. The lemon flavor was a bit off and the hops were low in flavor. I didn’t find this to be that good, and one-sided. It needs to have more than just the lemon perhaps more hop flavors than lemon or tone down the lemon flavor. I don’t think it’s a good IPA. Brewed in Athens, Georgia Creature Comforts Brewing Co Tropicália India Pale Ale, 6.6% ABV which was brought from Atlanta, Georgia by a good friend and Matt Alexander. This IPA pours a semi-deep golden color with a sticky two-finger white fluffy head. The aroma is juicy with ripe tropical fruits, mango, pineapple melons with some light bitterness. It smells good and tropical. The flavor is juicy ripe melon, mango, and pineapple with a light hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is light and it finishes with a hoppy tropical flavor. The aftertaste is fruity with bits of hoppy notes. It does taste as wonderful as it smells and I’d say it’s an A+. It is very crushable even being 6.6% ABV, which means it easy to drink. I highly recommend Creature Comforts Brewing Co Tropicália India Pale Ale. Well brewed taste beer that is quite refreshing. Please be kind, be safe, and enjoy responsibly! Cheers!

Brewed in Charleston South Carolina Edmund’s Oast Brewing Company Bound By Time India Pale Ale, 7% ABV brewed with 2-Row, Oats, Crystal, Acidulated malts, Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado hops, and American yeast. This IPA pours deep golden almost copper color with a two-finger steady fading white head. The aroma is citrusy with orange, there is cantaloupe and melon bitterness. The taste is similar to the nose with bitterness, orange citrus, cantaloupe melon with a sweet smooth hoppy note probably from the use of oats here. The mouthfeel is medium and it finishes with a bittersweet fruity flavor. The aftertaste is light with a hippy fruit flavor that does not stick around very long. Overall this was not a bad beer, but I didn’t get much from the oats used here, I picked up more fruity notes. I would give Edmund’s Oast Brewing Company Bound By Time India Pale Ale a C+. This particular brewer does brew good beer but this was just not quite up there with some of their other beer, but close. I would not turn this beer down if it was offered to me and yeah I kind of recommend it, but if you don’t have it you aren’t missing too much. Please be kind, be safe, and enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
