Pilsner I think is going to be a new popular trend among craft beer along with other crisp beer styles like a Lager. I guess you could call it a crispy beer trend. Westbrook Brewing Company CHS PILS, 5% ABV is an on-trend beer, says crispy on. the can but with a K and is brewed in Charleston, South Carolina. This Pilsner is brewed with Hallertau Tradition hops, German Lager Yeast, and Pils malt. This Pilsner pours a yellow slightly gold color with a tight/bright white one and a half-finger white head. The aroma is the lightest bit lemony with a biscuit note and a slight hint of a hop note. The flavor is aging, the lights hint of lemon with a few biscuity malts and a bit of a hoppy note. The mouthfeel is light but grainy. CHS PILS finish with a grainy faint hop note and caries it into a crisp aftertaste. This is a good alternative to all those big New England IPAs, barrel-aged and pastry stouts. I could drink several of these with wrecking or overpowering my tastebuds. I think Westbrook Brewing Company CHS PILS is an A. Just a straight-up Pilsner beer for when you what a well-brewed beer-flavored beer. Go get this! Please stay safe and enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
