When I last reviewed a Burial Beer, I didn’t like it as much as I usual. But I am reviewing another Burial Beer. Funny enough, it is called Another Mexican-Style Lager. This beer is 4.6% ABV and is brewed with Fidens Brewing for Burial’s 13th anniversary. The beer is mashed with torrefied corn maize and whirlpool-hopped with Zumo. The beer pours golden with a one-finger white head. The aroma is corn, some bread, and sweet notes. The flavor matches the aroma. It has sweetness, corn, and a clean yet somewhat grainy character. This has a light mouthfeel. The finish is grainy corn and sweetness that carries to the aftertaste. That aftertaste does fade steadily. This Burial beer was okay, but not good. I give Another Mexican-Style Lager a C+. It started good. But it was average rather quickly. I can only barely recommend his beer. If it wasn’t grainy, it might be better. I might have this again. Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
