Here is another beer from Cerveja Musa in Lisbon, Portugal. This beer is Frank APA and American Pale Ale. This beer weighs in at 5% ABV. That is a lower than most Pale Ale I’ve had here. But that can be good because sometimes you might want a lower-ABV Pale Ale. This beer uses Citra, and Mosaic hops. This beer pours a yellow-gold color with a one-finger sheet of white head. The aroma is citrusy orange, hoppy and vegetal. The taste is orange, vegetal, hoppy, light, and somewhat thin. The mouthfeel is light. Then this beer finishes with a hoppy and vegetal flavor. The aftertaste is bitter and hoppy but lasts for a couple of seconds before a light Pilsner taste hits for just a second. The beer had light, hoppy bitterness that was drinkable and pleasant. I would say that Frank APA is a C+. The hoppy flavoring was good, and it propped it up a bit. I would almost go back to this, but that won’t be easy because, this beer not sold in the States. But I also would not rush out for this. It wasn’t the worst. It was kind of delicious . Please be kind, stay safe, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
