The fruit smoothie types/styles of beer are becoming popular, and I think they are untraditional, different, and something new to the beer drinker. This particular beer is Kings Brewing Co. Fros’e Peach Passion Colada, 7% ABV. This beer comes from Rancho Cucamonga, California. I haven’t heard much about this brewing, nor have I had any of their beers. This beer pours a thick cloudy yellow color, with white foamy clumps floating up top. The aroma is sweet and fruity. There are vanilla and peach notes. The taste is peachy, and vanilla. I don’t get any other flavors. The mouthfeel is thick and full. But not as thick as some similar beers. It then finishes with a peach flavor and faint vanilla. The aftertaste is fruity and sweet. That flavor lingers until you take another sip. Kings Brewing Co. Fros’e Peach Passion Colada is a B+. There weren’t a lot of different flavors, and that helped. Some of these smoothie-type beers have too many flavors, and that can overwhelm your tastebuds. This beer did none of that. This beer flavor was just a vanilla peach. I recommend this! Please be kind, be safe, and enjoy responsibly!
