A long time ago, I first had an older version of Sierra Nevada Brewing’s Northern Hemisphere Harvest. This is the 2026 Crop. This wet-hop beer is 6.7% ABV and has caramelized, Pilsner, and Two-row Pale malts. It has fresh/wet hops (such as Centennial) and ale yeast. This beer usually releases every September, before Celebration IPA, another wet-hop IPA. You can find a review here. This IPA pours deep copper with a light beige two-finger head. The aroma is malty, bitter, and sweet/caramel. The flavor is light bitterness, piney, bready, and caramel. This IPA has a medium mouthfeel. The finish is piney with some bitter malts. The aftertaste is malted notes and fading pine bitterness. This beer is very good, but almost as good as their Celebration IPA. This gets a high B+. I think this is a nice change from all the hazy and West Coast IPAs. If you are a bit tired of West Coast IPAs, then Northern Hemisphere Harvest should hit the spot. I recommend it, and I will have this again. Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
