Green State Lager from Zero Gravity Craft Brewery is a 4.9% ABV Pilsner Brewed with German Pilsner malt, Hallertau Mittelfruh hops, Saaz hops, and house lager yeast. So far, the only place I’ve found any Zero Gravity beer in Charlotte is my local Whole Foods. This Pilsner pours gold with a one-finger, quickly fading white head. The aroma is clean, bready, and lightly spiced. The flavor is clean, crisp, bready, with light sweetness. This beer has a light mouthfeel. The finish is clean, with light sweetness that fades a little. The aftertaste is faded sweetness and faded white bread. I can find better Pilsners out there, but Green State wasn’t terrible. I think it’s a C+. The flavor was a bit lacking and dull. If someone offered me this beer, I would be okay with that. But I may not choose Green State. Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
