When I first tried Zero Gravity Craft Brewery’s Duck, Duck Juice, I thought it was good, so I decided to seek out their other beers. I did! I found Cone Head, Haze Hazy IPA. I found this beer at the same Whole Foods as Duck, Duck Juice IPA. This hazy IPA is 6.3% ABV. This beer uses Rahr Pilsner, Weyermann Vienna, and flaked oats. It also uses Motueka, Simcoe, El Dorado hops, and House Ale Yeast. This IPA pours hazy yellow with a two-finger white head. The aroma is tropical fruit, bitter, light pine, and light sweet notes. The flavor is tropical fruit, piney, bitter, and hoppy. This beer has a medium mouthfeel. The finish is tropical and smooth. I found a bit of piney bitterness on the finish. The aftertaste is tropical and light hops. That does fade, but not completely. Overall, this is a good hazy IPA is an A. It has good tropical flavors with the right amount of bitter hops. I would recommend Cone Head Haze. Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
