Divine Barrel Brewing Kellerpils

Kellerpils from Divine Barrel Brewing (https://divinebarrel.com) in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a 5% German-style Kellerpils Lager. Keller means cellar in German. Kellerpils is a Cellared Pilsner that is unfiltered and unpasteurized. I bought this beer from the local Whole Foods Market. This beer pours a slightly cloudy yellow with a one-finger, steady fading white head. The aroma is lemony, sweet, and crisp. The taste is sweet, crisp, with a faint hoppy note. Some light lemon flavor also grows and lingers a bit on the aftertaste. It’s not a strong lemon flavor. The aftertaste is crisp and slightly yeasty/sweet. This is a delicious Kellerpils. I give this an A. It is close to real German Kellerpils, just not as bold. I would not pass up the opportunity to drink this Kellerpils from Divine Barrel Brewing. Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
