In the craft beer world, you don’t see a mixed six-pack unless it’s a build-your-own. I was in the local grocery store yesterday, was perusing the beer ale, and saw a mixed six-pack of different Sonte Brewing Delicious IPA. This beer is Delicious Citrus IPA that comes in at 7.7% ABV. This beer has Amarillo, Talus, and El Dorado hops. This IPA also has ingredients such as sweet orange peel and reduced gluten. This citrus IPA pours a medium gold color with a two-finger white head. The aroma is bitter, juicy, citrus orange, and grapefruit. The flavor is juicy, grapefruit, orange, orange peel, bittersweet, and has a hoppy zing. The mouthfeel is light. Then you get an aftertaste that is citrusy, fruity, and bittersweet. Then comes an aftertaste of hoppy, juicy fruits. This beer is a great Citrus IPA. This Delicious Citrus IPA is a high B+, barely missing an A-. It has all the right/delicious citrus flavors. It almost doesn’t taste as high as 7.7% ABV. I recommend this IPA.
