This Lager is another beer from Kona Brewing Co. in Hawaii. This bar is Longboard Island Lager. It is a flagship beer from Kona Brewing Co. This lager is 4.6% ABV. This island lager has Pale(premium 2-row) malts, Mt. Hood, Halletrau, Sterling, and Millennium hops. This beer pours a yellow/gold color with a one-finger white fluffy head. The aroma is crisp sweetness, bread (biscuits), and a light hop note. The flavor is smooth, crisp, sweet, a little hoppy, and a bit of bread. The mouthfeel is light. Then this island lager comes to a nice clean, crisp, smooth sweet finish. The aftertaste is semi-sweet with a nice crispness. This beer is a good beer and one that is widely available. I see it in grocery stores, beer/wine stores, and bars/restaurants. I give Longboard Island Lager a B+. It has a great flavor that isn’t strong or weak. It’s just a good solid beer, nothing stands out, and nothing terrible. This beer is great for a nice hot sunny day at the beach or wherever you enjoy beer. I recommended this one.
