Fonta Flora Mimosa City Mimosa-Style White Ale

This white ale called Mimosa City, fermented with fresh orange, aged on Earl Gray Tea and Coriander. This beer also uses local well water at 88% local ingredients. This beer is from Fonta Flora Brewery in Nebo, North Carolina. In a previous Fonta Flora review, I said that Fonta Flora beer review that this brewery’s beer is either a hit or miss. This beer pours a yellow with a steady two-finger white head. The aroma of this beer is semi-sweet, orange, and coriander. The taste is light sweetness, orange fruit, coriander, and Earl Gray Tea. Towards the back of the tongue is an off-flavor like burnt salt. The mouthfeel is light. Then this beer comes with a bitter tea taste in the finish. The aftertaste is like a white ale that has gone off or has turned. The overall flavor of this is not good. The coriander and orange clash with the Earl Gray tea. This beer is not good. I could not finishes all sixteen ounces. I give this Mimosa City a D-. I think you should not drink this. I don’t recommend this beer. Fonta Flora Brewery beers are either a hit or a miss. Please be kind, stay safe, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
