I found Ninja vs Unicorn Double Pale Ale at a nearby Harris Teeter supermarket. This beer from Chicago, Illinois, is 8% ABV. Pipeworks Brewing Co. was founded in 2012. I have not seen much of this or any Pipeworks beers here in Charlotte or in North Carolina. This beer pours a yellow color with a slight haze and has a three-finger thick white head. The aroma is juicy, fruity, tropical, and hoppy. The flavor is hoppy, juicy, fruity, tropical mango, and pineapple. It has a slight sweetness to it. The mouthfeel is medium. Then this beer (which is more like an IPA than a Pale Ale) finishes with a bitter tropical hop flavor. The aftertaste is hoppy and bitter with light fruit. I found this Ninja vid Unicorn Double Pale Ale from Pipeworks Brewing Co. to be good, A grade. It has fruity flavors with the right amount of bettering hops. It does not drink like an 8% beer either.
