Lenny Boy Brewing Co. Uno Mas Mexican Style Lager, 5% ABV was brewed as a Mexican Amber Ale. But I messaged the Lenny Boy and they told me they made it more of a golden color to make it more approachable. This Mexican style lager brewed in Charlotte, NC pours a gold color with a two-finger white head that quickly fades down to one finger then fades at a steady pace. The aroma is sweet corn-like with a light biscuity note. The flavor is sweet corn biscuit notes that make this crisp beer go down so easy. The mouthfeel is light. This lager finishes clean & crisp with a nice sweet biscuit flavor. The sweetness does linger in the aftertaste. Changing this beer from amber was a good choice. I enjoyed Lenny Boy Brewing Co. Uno Mas Mexican Style Lager and it gets an A. This is a good summer’s day beer that you could have a few off. The flavor and ABV aren’t overwhelming. You should try Lenny Boy Brewing Co.
