This beer pours a thick black color with a three-finger rocky beige head that slowly dissolves. It gives off sweet chocolate/coconut aromas with a slight roasted coffee note. The flavor is bittersweet with some chocolate, coconut, and roasted coffee. Mouthfeel is thicker. There is a semi-sweet finish that has more bitterness, similar to dark chocolate. The aftertaste is bittersweet with a vanilla coffee. The aftertaste is only around for a quick minute, poof it’s gone. Overall Wicked Weed Brewing Guilty Pleasures German Chocolate Cake Imperial Stout is the best so far, getting a B-. It has a little too much bitterness on it, and the coconut flavor is average at best. This beer taste like your average German chocolate cake. It’s not a bad pick of the bunch.
