Wicked Weed Brewing Guilty Pleasures Brownie Imperial Stout

I spotted a Wicked Weed variety four Pack, Guilty Pleasures Imperial Stout at Total Wine. I purchased it. I then thought that I would review each imperial stout and the whole pack and see what I find to be the best and worst of the variety pack. So stay tuned here for the next week or so.

The first beer in the Wicked Weed Guilty Pleasures is Brownie Imperial Stout, 8.7% ABV, which brewed with chord natural hemp-like flavors. Brownie pours a black color with a two-finger slow beige head. The aroma is of bitter dark chocolate, dry notes, and a slightly burnt smell. The flavor is bitter, with a bar of dry, dark chocolate, hoppy notes. Brownie finishes dry and bitter with an off brunt flavor and a bitter aftertaste. The mouthfeel is full and rough. Overall this Wicked Week Guilty Pleasures Pack is not off to a good start. I give Wicked Week Guilty Pleasures Brownie a D. The bitter notes were not great, and I think that was from the hemp-like flavor that also clashed with the chocolate flavor, which is not good taste. We’ll see how it goes from here. Please stay safe and enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
