Beyond The Fields We Know Pale Ale, 5.8% (purchased from Pop The Top) is a collaboration between Burial Beer Co. and the band Dead Meadow and is double dry-hopped with Citra, Comet, and a big dose of Columbus Cryo hops. Beyond The Fields We Know Pale Ale pours a bright cloudy yellow color with sediment floaters and a two-finger quickly fade-in white head, with big bitter grapefruit and hoppy aromas that is a nice and juicy on the nose. The taste is quite bold with a juicy bitter grapefruit orange with the growth of bitterness on the back of the tongue/mouth with a bitter citrus finish and a dank bitter aftertaste with a fuller mouthfeel. This is a wild pale ale that is nearly an IPA and Burial Beer Co. Beyond The Fields We Know Pale Ale is a B- beer. It has a good wallop of hoppy bitter citrus flavor that is good but I not for more than two pints. If you like hoppy bitter citrus IPA like Pale Ales than Burial Beer Co.
