I am quite fond of Belgian beer. I have enjoyed Belgian beers all over the world. This Belgian beer is Brasserie Chouffe La Chouffe Blonde. This beer is 8% ABV. I have reviewed other Brasserie Chouffe beers. You should read about them. This Blonde beer pours a light orange/blonde color with a two-finger head. The aroma is fruity with citrus notes, sweet, and strong. The flavor is citrusy, sweet, with light yeasted notes, smooth, strong, and light-bodied. La Chouffe has a light to medium mouthfeel. This beer has a fruity and strong finish that fades steadily. Then comes a citrusy aftertaste. La Chouffe is good, but I think Delirium Blonde is better. With that said, I’d say La Chouffe Blonde is an A-. La Chouffe Blonde is lighter-bodied than Delirium without the spiced note you get from Delirium Blonde. Both are worth drinking.
