I have to say that Hazy IPA is probably my favorite IPA style. This is Pink Flamingos Hazy IPA from Sloop Brewing Company in Junction, New York. This beer is 6% ABV with flaked oats, malted oats, flaked wheat, HBC-620, and Mosiac Cryo hops. I don’t recall ever having a Sloop Brewing Co. beer. This might be my first. This IPA pours a hazy yellow with a three-finger white fluffy head. The head has a creamy look to it. The aroma is bittersweet, fruity, and hoppy. The flavor is melon, bittersweet, hoppy, and juicy. This has a full feel to the mouth. Then the fruity bitter finish comes in. This beer has a fruity aftertaste with some bitter hops. This beer is good but just that. I give Pink Flamingos a B-. The flavors are 75% there in strength and flavor quality. But I still recommend this Hazy IPA. I would go for it again. It’s just good and not the best one.
