This Pilsner from Royal Bliss Brewing Co., Denver’s First is 5.4% ABV from Denver, North Carolina. This award-winning Pilsner pours yellow with a one-finger white head that doesn’t stick. The aroma is light, semi-sweet, and malty. The flavor is clean and crisp with light bread and malt. There is a very light/fant bitter note in the flavor. This beer has a light mouthfeel. The finish is crisp with a very faint bitter malt note. The aftertaste is breaded malts. This is good but there is that very light bitter note. I give Denver’s First a C+. This is just above average for me. It is refreshing and good. But I think there are some better pilsners. This might be something that could grow on the more I have it and I might just re-review this Royal Bliss Pilsner sometime soon, just to see if it is any better.
