I kept seeing an advertisement for Milk & Cookies on YouTube. So I saw Milk & Cookies at my local grocery store and bought a pack. Great advertisement. It made to want to buy some. This Imperial Stout is from Wicked Weed Brewery in Asheville, North Carolina. It weighs 8.7% ABV and has golden raisins, cinnamon, and vanilla. I love to have a glass of milk with way cookies. Dunking the cookie in the milk is the best. This big stout pours black with a tan/beige three- finger steady head. The aroma is of oatmeal, and cinnamon/vanilla sweetness. The taste is oatmeal, sweet with cinnamon and vanilla, with a light bitterness. Then this beer finishes with a sweetness, like milk that has cookie crumbs from dunking. Then the aftertaste is dark and sweet. This beer is surprisingly light for a beer that is 8.7% ABV, but it is not lightweight either. It’s good too. I give Milk & Cookies a B. It’s not too heavy, and it’s not too light either. But it doesn’t have a big milk flavor. It has some vanilla but not enough to make it take like milk. But it was still a good beer.
