Samuel Adams Octoberfest

This beer is Samuel Adams Octoberfest, 5.3% ABV from Boston, Massachusetts. I know it’s not October yet, but this was the last new beer. This Octoberfest pours a brown, darker caramel color with a thin beige one-finger fizzy head. The aroma is malty, caramel with a light bread aroma. The taste is caramel sweetness and a bread/nut smooth flavor. This Samuel Adams finish with a sweet note but not much else. The aftertaste is pretty much the same Samuel Adams Octoberfest isn’t a terrible beer. It’s not that good either. I say it’s a D+. After drinking, this beer there wasn’t anything that stood out or made me want to have another. The flavors were thin and artificial. I’ve had way better Octoberfest beers than this. I would not try this. Samual Adams doesn’t necessarily brew terrible beer. This beer happens to be one that I did not enjoy. Please be kind, be safe and enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
