It also has American 2-row, wheat, and Munich malts. This beer came to me from Atlanta, Georgia bt a co-worker/friend. Southern Isles pours a copper color with a one and a quarter finger white head that quickly fizzles away. The aroma is sharp bitterness, citrus, tropical fruits (slight mango). The taste is bitter at first, with little citrus notes. There is a bit of faint mango. The mouthfeel is medium. Southern Isles finish bitter and hoppy, then a bitter mango/grapefruit aftertaste that is too bitter. I didn’t find Georgia Beer Company Southern Isles Tropical IPA to be that great, and I give it a D-. It did not have enough tropical flavor, only light faint tropical flavors. It was like they weren’t there. I would not recommend Georgia Beer Company Southern Isles Tropical IPA. This beer is the first Georgia Beer Company beer I’ve had, and it’s not a good way to start. No, don’t try this! Please be kind, be safe and enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
