Brewery Ommegang Neon Rainbows New Englan-Style IPA, 6.7% ABV and 40 IBUs, brewed with Citra, Centennial, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Topaz hopes in Cooperstown, New York. I picked this up on a trip to Trader Joes, don’t usually go in there. This IPA pours a deeper golden color with a bright white fluffy four-finger head. The aroma is sweet and fruity with orange, some grapefruit, dry tropical bitter flavors. The taste is orange, grapefruit juicy bitterness with tropical sweet notes with a creamy yet dryness. There is a lot of bold flavors here. The mouthfeel is medium, and it comes to a bitter fruity finish and a dry bittersweet aftertaste. This is a good beer and not overly sweet like some of the New England style IPAs. This is an A. It has enough bitterness to not make it overly fruity/sweet, and the fruity flavors keep it from being overly bitter. It’s a well-balanced IPA. I Brewery highly recommend Ommegang Neon Rainbows New Englan-Style IPA. Please be kind, be safe and please enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
