Clown Shoes Beer Undead Party Crashes American Imperial Stout, 9% ABV. This beer is made in Boston, Massachusetts, and Winsor, Vermont. It’s only available in fall/winter. This imperial stout pours a motor oil black color with a three and quarter beige, khaki head. The head is slow to fade into itself. It is quite a thick head. Now to the aroma. The aroma is of licorice, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee. The flavor is bitter with dark chocolate, licorice. There also is a nice hit of dark roast coffee and some dry note. The mouthfeel is full and a bit dry. This stout finish with a bitter roasted dark Chocolate flavor. It has a bitter dark chocolate, licorice aftertaste with a hint of dark coffee. Clown Shoes Beer Undead Party Crashes American Imperial Stout grows on you. I give Clown Shoes Beer a B-. It’s not a beer that I would have more than one of or one that I would drink quickly. It’s something of a sipping beer. It has a little too much bitterness for my liking, but that is the only negative I have for this imperial stout. But I did enjoy it.
