St. Bernardus Brewery Pater 6

This beer, Pater Six, is an Abby Dubble from St. Bernardus and is another in their mixed six-pack. This beer is 6.7% ABV. This recipe dates back to 1946. This beer pours a chestnut brown with a two-finger light beige head. The aroma is lightly nutty, sweet, malty, and overall light. The flavor is sweet and dark, malty, and smooth. Then this beer finishes with a light malt flavor and some sweetness. The light sweetness carries over into the aftertaste with some malt characteristics. This beer has a light overall flavor, and that gives it an A. I think Chimay dubble is slightly better than this. I would still recommend this St. Bernardus Pater 6. It would go well with pork dishes and zesty cheeses. Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
