Saturday, I found a new bottle shop Frank’s Beer Shop (Franksbeershop.com) in Charlotte, North Carolina. They don’t have big draft selections. But they do have a good selection and single cans to enjoy there. They also have packaged beer to go. I bought Hopfly Brewing Co. Bootleg Fireworks. This is a Blender series fruited sour beer. This beer is 6.5% ABV. This beer has Key lime, lemon, raspberry, and cherry. This beer pours a deep red and has a one-finger deep pink head. This beer pours slightly thick. The aroma is of cherry, lime, and lemon fruit. It is tart and sour-smelling as well. The taste is of lime, cherry, lemon, and raspberries. The flavor is also sweet, sour, and tart. This beer finishes the same way it starts. The aftertaste is tart/sour fruit that lingers. This is a good fruited sour beer that I give an A+. I recommended it too.
