Boonshine Brewing Co. Palate Painter Mosaic IPA

Palate Painter is a 6% ABV Mosaic IPA from Boonshine Brewing Co. with American Pale and Wheat malts. Most IPAs I have usually have Citra or Cascade hops, which I like, but finding one with other hop(s) is nice. This IPA from Boon, North Carolina, pours orange with a slightly off-white two-finger head. The aroma is citrusy, orange, grapefruit, and bitter. That reminds me of a bitter citrus fruit cup. The flavor is orange, grapefruit, hoppy and bitter. I think the bitterness is more grapefruit. This has a nice medium feel in the mouth. This IPA finishes with a bitter citrus fruit. The finish is half orange and half grapefruit. You’ll find a bitter hop aftertaste with a muted citrus note. That does linger for a short while and falls away. This is a good beer, B+. You should try this Palate Painter Mosaic IPA. Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
