Seven-Sixty Craft Works The Bob American IPA

The Bob is a 6.3% American IPA from Seven-Sixty Craft Works in Huntersville, North Carolina. This IPA has Amarillo, Citra, and Centennial hops. This beer pours yellow with a big four-finger marshmallow head that never seems to dissipate. The aroma is citrusy (orange and apricots) and bitter. The flavor is bitter, orange, apricot, and floral and is light alcoholic, especially as it warms. This has a lighter feel in the mouth. The finish is bitter, floral, and orange. The aftertaste is also bitter with citrus, with a light alcoholic note. This beer sneaks up on you. I give The Bob an A+. It has just the right bitterness with a good floral citrus flavor.
