Death To Fresh is a fresh hop India Pale Ale from Edumnd’s Oast Brewing Co. in Charleston, South Carolina. This beer is 6.3% and has fresh hops picked in the prime and shipped across the county. A fresh hop IPA is an IPA that uses whole cone hops off the hop vine instead of dried hops. This beer pours a deep orange with a two-finger steady white head. The aroma is bitter, citrusy, floral, and earthy. The flavor is bitter, clean, dry, earthy and citrusy. This reminds me of Sierra Nevada’s Celebration. Then, this IPA comes to a clean and bitter citrus finish with a citrusy bitter aftertaste. This isn’t as bitter as Sierra Nevada’s Celebration. I give Fresh To Death an A-.It is not an intensely bitter fresh hop IPA but a good one. This isn’t brewed to be a staple, but it is almost like a seasonal beer. From what I got on the brewery website, it’s brewed here and there. I would recommend this if you are into this style. I would go for this again. Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
