Seven-Sixty Craft Works in Huntersville, North Carolina, makes My First Love Song, a Munich-style Dunkel. This beer is 5.5% ABV with Hallertau Mattelfruh hops. I had never heard of this brewery before, so this is my first Seven-Sixty beer. This beer pours deep brown with a one-finger light beige head. The aroma is of roast notes, malts, nuttiness, and toffee. The flavor is roasted, nutty, chocolate, and toffee with a light body. This has a light mouthfeel. This has a sweet toffee and malt finish that lingers in the aftertaste. This beer is good but too much on the lighter side for a Dunkel. That gives this beer, My First Love Song, a C+. It’s just above average. All the flavors were light overall. I will try more beers from Seven-Sixty Craft Works, but I will leave this one for a while. I don’t think it is good enough to go back to. Please stay safe \, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibility! Cheers!
