This is an IPA from Aslin Beer Co. Washington D.C. This IPA is Power Moves purchased from my local Whole Foods. This IPA is 5.5% ABV. This New England IPA has Chinook, Simcoe, Citra, and Mosaic hops. This IPA pours yellow with a one-finger fizzy white head. The aroma is soft/juicy pineapple and some bitterness. The flavor is juicy pineapple, bitterness and some light melon, This is light on the palate. Then you get a light tropical bitter fruit finish. The aftertaste is bitter but just enough for you to know that it’s there. This Power Moves is good. and I give this a B-. At first, it was average, but the more I drank the better it got, and yeah I recommend this. But I don’t see much of Aslin Beer Co.’s products. Also, I don’t see many New England IPAs with an ABV as low as 5.5%. I think that’s good. I find most to be 6.8% to 7.8% ABV. With that and the flavor not so much, it makes this a good session beer. Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
