Here is another from the New Belgium Brewing Voodoo Ranger IPA mixed twelve pack. This IPA is Hop Raider IPA. This beer is 8.1% ABV. This beer pours a deep gold color with a two-finger white head. The aroma is malty, bitter, and light with tropical fruits. There is melons, and pineapples amorous. The taste is Pineapple and melon. There is a malty flavor, pine, and bitterness. This IPA comes with a pine, malt, and bitter finish. The aftertaste is a malty pine flavor that lingers a bit. This is okay, not the best. I give Hop Raider IPA a C+. The tropical fruit clashes with the malt and pine flavors. I didn’t like that. But those flavors on their own are not too bad. Would I recommend this? Just barely.
