This beer is from Burial Beer in Asheville, North Carolina, and has a long name like most of the beers from Burial. This one is Cognitive Indifference Towards Something More Fulfilling. This West Coast-style IPA is double dry-hopped with Grungiest, Centennial, Strata, and Citra Cryo. This IPA is 7% ABV. This beer pours a thicker yellow color with a two-and-a-quarter white head. The aroma of this IPA is Fruity, citrusy, bitter, and with a light sweet note. The beer’s flavor is citrusy, smooth, creamy, bitter, and hoppy. The hoppy level is not too high so the bitterness is not overwhelming. But the bitterness is there. Then this long-named beer finishes with a bitter citrus fruit flavor and some bitterness. Then you come to an aftertaste of grapefruit and orange bitter notes. This was more like a traditional West Coast-style IPA and that made it more drinkable, even for 7% ABV. I would give Cognitive Indifference Towards Something More Fulfilling an A+. I could not see this beer being any better. So that means you should go and drink this beer. Please stay safe, be kind to everyone, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
